湿度对木薯单爪螨Mononchellus mcgregori发育与繁殖的影响

摘要:
【目的】木薯单爪螨Mononychellus mcgregori是新入侵我国的重要检疫性害螨,主要为害木薯,严重危害时可导致减产40%~60%。该螨亦可为害橡胶,对橡胶生产存在较大的危险隐患。近年来,该螨种群数量在迅速增加,扩散范围不断增大,目前已在海南、云南、广西、广东等重要木薯产区发生并加重危害。湿度是昆虫、螨生活环境中必要的要素之一,与害螨的爆发息息相关。【方法】本研究通过室内饲养观察比较了不同湿度对木薯单爪螨生长发育及繁殖的影响。【结果】湿度对木薯单爪螨发育与繁殖存在显著影响(P<0.05),70%~90%是木薯单爪螨发育与繁殖的适宜湿度条件。当湿度为55%和95%时,孵化率和后代产卵量显著降低,雌成螨寿命显著缩短。当湿度为65%时,孵化率、平均每雌产卵量以及成螨寿命均与75%和85%湿度条件下无显著差异,但其发育历期却显著延长。湿度较低和较高均会导致雌成螨比例降低。【结论】作为一种新入侵害螨,对入侵环境的适应性是木薯单爪螨种群快速扩张的前提,因此,本研究结果可为了解木薯单爪螨入侵中国后种群的扩张范围及机制,为其生态适应性研究以及有效监测发生危害和扩散蔓延提供基础数据、理论依据和有效参考。

Effect of humidity on the development and the reproduction of Mononchellus mcgregori
Abstract:
【Background】Cassava green mite Mononychellus mcgregori is a newly invasive pest mite of cassava in China. It mainly harms the green components of buds, young leaves and stems of cassava, with damaged leaves deformed by yellow blot, which results in leaf chlorosis, dried branches and even plant death in serious cases, a 40~60% reduction in production in the case of serious damage. It is known to occur currently in important cassava-planting areas such as Yunnan, Guangxi and Guangdong where it causes significant damage to cassava. Since it’s invasive in tropical area of China, the populations have increasing quickly.【Method】Humidity was one of the important ecological factors for the development and the reproduction of Mononychellus mcgregori. In order to determine the potential distribution and to analyze its invasion, diffusion and ecological adaptation mechanisms, this study investigated the effect of humidity on the development and reproduction of the mite via artificial rearing them at different humidity in the laboratory. 【Results】The humidity significantly influences the development and reproduction of M. mcgregori (P<0.05). The suitable humidity for the development and reproduction of M. mcgregori were 70~90%. The hatchability, the fecundity of per female and the longevity of female adults all significantly decreased when the humidity get to 55% and 95%. However, except the developmental duration significantly prolonged, no significant difference in hatchability, the fecundity of per female and the longevity of female adults were observed between the humidity exposure of 75%~85% and 65%.【Conclusion and significance】As a newly invasive pest mite, the ecological adaptability were the precondition for the establishment and spread of their population. The study will provide a theoretical basis and reference for the ecological adaptability and effective monitoring of M. mcgregori, after its invasion in China.
